Passionate about baking since he was a child, Dimitrios Makriniotis pursued his studies at international pastry schools of high standing, such as École Bellouet Conseil, École Professionnelle Lenôtre, L’École du Grand Chocolat Valrhona, École de Pâtisserie de Stéphane Glacier, École Chef d’Oeuvre.

Committed to results according to the highest standards, he has attended private pastry seminars and workshops of the best pastry chefs from all around the world as Stéphane Glacier, Christophe Rhedon, Johan Martin, Guillaume Mabilleau, Gianluca Fusto, Andres Lara. 

His creativity, great attention to detail, exceptional knowledge of ingredients and, of course, love for baking, contributed to the award of ‘Best Pastry Chef of Greece’ in 2014.

Dimitrios Makriniotis currently works as the executive pastry chef of the biggest all-day restaurant chain ‘Gazi College’ in Athens, where he creates innovative desserts that help bring in first –time customers and convert them to regular clientele. 

At the same time, he is sharing his expertise by professional pastry consulting in designing new pastry and desserts while he is the technical advisor and the pastry chef of ‘Vordonis S.A’ company, the major bakery and confectionery materials supplier in Greece.

Dimitrios is the brand ambassador of the BABBI SRL, ICAM Cioccolato, PAVONI Italia, companies.

Driven by high level of passion and devotion, Dimitrios combines ingredients in an appetizing and flavorful way so as to create and offer an outstanding dessert product.
